I am just one of a large group of volunteers who are working to elect Bill Hunt as the next Orange County Sheriff.

Bill is totally pro 2nd Amendment and has pledged to implement a CCW SHALL ISSUE policy if elected.

Bill's law enforcement experience, character, dedication to protecting citizen’s rights, his positions on fiscal responsibility and on jail reform are all great. He was even in my squad at a recent Prado IDPA match.

Thank you for the link to Mr. Hunt's web site. He would certainly be an improvement over our current appointed Sheriff but Bill's not the only viable candidate in the race.

“As your Sheriff, I will issue CCW’s to any applicant who is a law abiding resident of the county, meets state mandated requirements and is not prohibited by law from possessing a firearm. To me, personal protection is good cause.”

I am leading the project to hand out Bill Hunt fliers at the January 30-31 Orange County fairgrounds gun show.

We are asking for volunteers to help with this project. At a minimum we will need only a very few people working at any one time. If we can get a lot of volunteers that will let us accomplish the mission with no one working more than an hour or two.

If you are going to attend the show and can spare us an hour of your time that would be great. If not, please at least pick up a Bill Hunt T-shirt from me at the ticket line.

Most of the flier distribution will be to people standing in line to buy a ticket. So even if you are not planning on visiting the show you can come and help us out.

We will be handing out two types of fliers. One is very dramatic and of few words to really grab people’s attention. The second will be one of Bill’s detailed fliers covering Bill and the issues. The first is the hook to get people to read the more detailed flier. In the ticket line, with time on their hands, people are most likely to read both fliers.

This Crossroads of the West Gun Show runs from 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday and 9 AM to 4 PM Sunday. But our efforts may not cover the last two or three hours of either day.

I will be scheduling the volunteer’s on duty time to minimize individual working time and maximize coverage of the shows prime operating hours.

Not that's dedication. So what's the dramatic flyer with a few words going to say? You. Gun in pants with no break law. CCW. Hunt. Vote.
