He is history. Supervisor Chris Norby is running to replace him. Shawn Nelson is looking at replacing Norby at the BOS. Both are Pro-CCW.

The guy Duvall was talking smack to is Assemblyman Jeff Miller (R) 71st Carona/ Mission Viejo. This from SF Cron.:
"Duvall made the comments to fellow Assemblyman Jeff Miller, R-Corona (Riverside County), also a member of the Assembly Ethics Committee. Miller said he “really wasn’t paying attention” to what Duvall was saying and did not alert the Ethics Committee about it. A spokeswoman for Bass said Miller will be removed from the Ethics Committee." This guy is also subject recall as are Huff and Silva for voting for the tax increase. All of these guys, including Duvall, endorsed Hutchens.

One thing that is fun to watch though is when they get on the television to offer their "apology". I'm always surprised when the wife is standing next to them being "supportive". I know for a fact if I did what these politicians did my "apology" statement would have to come from the emergency room or intensive care because my wife would have either done some elective surgery on me or used one of my own guns on me.
