He is history. Supervisor Chris Norby is running to replace him. Shawn Nelson is looking at replacing Norby at the BOS. Both are Pro-CCW.

The guy Duvall was talking smack to is Assemblyman Jeff Miller (R) 71st Carona/ Mission Viejo. This from SF Cron.:
"Duvall made the comments to fellow Assemblyman Jeff Miller, R-Corona (Riverside County), also a member of the Assembly Ethics Committee. Miller said he “really wasn’t paying attention” to what Duvall was saying and did not alert the Ethics Committee about it. A spokeswoman for Bass said Miller will be removed from the Ethics Committee."
This guy is also subject recall as are Huff and Silva for voting for the tax increase. All of these guys, including Duvall, endorsed Hutchens.

I thought Norby was running for County Clerk, not an Asembly seat. Did something change?

Yep, this has been going on forever, not going to stop now or ever...even back to the days of Caesar, who was banging Cleopatra...instead of his wife--or in addition to his wife).

And it will be great for us to have a friend in the Assembly!

OK. Cool. Norby has been a solid supporter of us. We need to return the favor.

Well if I were Caesar and had basically unlimited power and Cleopatra looked anything close to a young Elizabeth Taylor, I'd be sorely tempted myself. But for idiots who have to stand for elected office in this day and age, it's just stupid.

One thing that is fun to watch though is when they get on the television to offer their "apology". I'm always surprised when the wife is standing next to them being "supportive". I know for a fact if I did what these politicians did my "apology" statement would have to come from the emergency room or intensive care because my wife would have either done some elective surgery on me or used one of my own guns on me.

The problem is with the type of person who is attracted to public office. Granted, there are a small minority who are actually interested in performing a public service, but the vast majority are the meddlesome type who want to dictate how others live. Such petty tyrants are almost always borderline (and occasionally outright) sociopaths who are unable to internalize the morality they demand of us plebeians.
