OK folks - did anyone else get an invitation to Mrs. Hutchens Fundraiser on June 25?

Yep. Received mine today also. I am so disappointed they didn't provide a postage-paid reply envelope...

No, should I be outraged at the snub?

Do you really have to ask? They simply used the same list that she used for the early revocations!

I though she was using the list of Carona donators

why would she not believe that whoever gave money to Carona would not also be willing to give her money .

now,,, who got an invite??????????

Just got mine today.

The only way to get my address, that I can think of is off Corona's list or the CCW list, either way it is interesting, since she accused people on both lists of buying their CCWs.

Anyone getting one of these, save it. We need to find out how her campaign got your addresses.

My thought exactly - mine was labeled with my full first name, which I commonly do not use - just too difficult to pronounce for most people.

e-mail me if you need a scan.

Save the letters and any envelopes, please. We'll let you know if we need scans, etc...

I got one too, and that was the first thing I thought.

I received one as well, although in my case, I believe they've transposed names and addresses. It has my address, but the wrong name. I'm assuming they are using a donor list from Corona's time.

I know how they got our addresses... When you are registered to vote your name, address, phone number, age, party affiliation and voting history(not who you voted for but how often you've actually voted) is available to candidates that have successfully submitted papers to run. But since the submission period hasn't began for the Sheriffs office there are several private companies who purchase this information/databases from the county recorder as agents of a candidate or from the candidate and resell it others. In order to actually obtain an updated current list from the County Recorders office you have to be current candidate so since there are no candidates running right now this information was obtained from a previous election.

I know this for a because I once ran for an elected office here in Orange County and still have the list of all the register voters information on CD.

That sounds plausible.

I did not get one. As both a CCW holder and a registered republican, but not a Carona donor, that would suggest she mailed a Carona donor list...
