Default OCSD Admits Restricted Licenses Endanger CCW Licensees

See it for yourself. In response to a PRA by OCCCWS, this little paragraph says it all.

The way I read it,

Sandy is placing a restriction on the CCW holder and by their own letter admit that this is endangering the licensee.

Absolutely incredible. This is one of those 'Where was I when I needed me' things.

Gee. We've been making the same argument for the past 8 or 9 months. It's nice to know they are finally starting to agree with us.

Not incredible. An admission by the OCSD (and by proxy, “appointed” Sheriff Hutchens) of their lack of concern for the safety and well being of ordinary citizens safety in their quest to blindly achieve a philosophical goal.

What is stupid was the fact that OCSD would put it in writing. This is just another shining example of the old adage “There is no cure for stupid”. Fortunately, intelligent people have a way to remove incompetent individuals from power. In our case, 2010 comes to mind….

Her enlightened decision to restrict most of the CCWs probably has something to do with the "industry standard".
She probably got her legal advise on this subject from a law professor.
The decision to restrict them in the first place AND this admission are both down right foolish acts and I'm not a law professor.

If the Licensee is endangered by her restictions, then she also has implied that she has endangered the people that were revoked or denied.
Way to go Sandy Sue; her version giving public safety her highest priority.
