We all know that was BS. The CCW numbers have stayed pretty consistent over the two year prior to Hutchens coming to town. During those two years there were people moving out of the county and people not renewing because their GC no longer existed. So why now all of a sudden that is causing the numbers to go down?

They make it sound as though only 93 permit holders in all were affected by Hutchens' action. Again, I wonder about the reporter not being savvy enough to see through this, or deceitful enough to not report the whole truth?
And every time they come out and make statements like this, it helps us to show how "arbitrary and capricious" their actions are. First they say that 400+ permits were issued to so called "avid shooters" who lacked good cause. Therefore, they say, those permits were issued defectively, and will be revoked. They sent out letters to those 400+ people informing them that their permits would be revoked.

Now they're saying only 93 have been, or might be revoked. Instead, many of those 400+ people are being allowed to keep their permits, but with restrictions on when and where they can carry.

So, they don't have "good cause" but some of them get to keep their permits, while others (93?) don't? Based on what?

They claim that they have an objective, clearly understandable standard. But who can say for sure what it is?

I'm gonna hate myself for asking this but..... I was one of the one's that decided to have the Sheriff revoke me since I felt and still feel this is a contract with the OC County Sheriff Dept. and NOT her. My question is- when do we as a group get to a point where we discuss or decide who to support for the election next year. Sheriff Hutchen is a moot point as far as I'm concerned at this time. I'm a one issue man right now.

Default I Guess An Important Question Is...

...When you take into account the restrictions, how many unrestricted CCWs are left in OC?

Well, as far as restricted CCWs go, we're only talking about regular CCWs. Judicial and Reserves are not getting the restriction. The numbers we have just from members on this forum indicate that it's running two to one on restrictions.

Sounds like a discrimination case to me.
