Of course they do. That wasn't what was posted.
The post said that most LEOs would have a badge next to the gun on their belt. I disagreed. They don't. They carry one in their wallet/pocket or not at all.
My point in posting is so that people reading this thread get correct information and don't assume that if they see a gun but not a badge the guy/gal is not a LEO.
-Open carry. Going to court, working detectives, etc, etc. Badge on belt or around neck.
-CCW. No visible badge 99% of the time.
