I've been shooting since I was 5 and I was told and taught never to discuss my father's LEO status with anyone. My 4 year old is more than capable of communicating and he went shooting with me for the second time last weekend. Also, last weekend he shot his first gun (my first gun) a bolt action .22 chipmunk. He was thrilled and even brought the brass to his mom who I am divorced from... LOL... I was thrilled to be able to teach gun safety and responsibility to my 4 year old son. It is those fundamentals that start at an early age that make this society a safer place for all of us, because if a 4 year old knows how to deal familiar and unfamiliar firearms it will trickle down to his friends and relatives. My ex-wife is a pacifist to the highest power (why I married her pm me and ask if you want to know) so it was great to be able to do such a fun and productive activity with my son. Also, when they get older they have better SA and can even to some degree improve yours.
