As far as telling, only my wife knows.
3 1/2 yo grandson is crazy about guns. As far as he knows though, the only gun I have is my 1861 Colt Navy .36 black powder in the display case in my office (I've since had to put it away in the safe b/c of his sudden interest in it. w/a 3 yo boy, its "out of sight out of mind."). He's too young to know that 'gwampa' carries.
