I sent my Goldcup back to Colt to have an Amb- thumb safety installed among other things. I finnnnnnaaaaalllllly get the gun back, shoot it, field strip to clean... and the ****in' safety falls out! Then I discover that my grip safety was not properly reinstalled: pressing the trigger hard enough causes the thumb safety to disengage allowing the hammer to fall. NOT good! FROM THE FACTORY!!!!!
Anyway, Kings fixed everything and they do awesome custome work too. 50 year in business. Master Gunsmiths. Check 'em out:
