New one to me, good story. Venice, HA! He does a great job of describing THAT scene.
I only wonder how many of us will eventually "give up" and move to podunk USA, "the big home in the midwest" methodology--basically run away from problems. Not my solution right now, but in a mindless sort of way it is somewhat attractive as an option--buy a huge chunk of land with a big old house, no crime THERE, right???
