A couple of years ago I was going out to dinner at the Wind and Sea Restaurant in Dana Point. As I pulled up to the valet, the guy in front of me hopped out of his car and reached in to pull out a fanny pack and proceeded into the restaurant. I immediately told my wife "That guy's got a piece". She asked me how I knew and I told her there's no other reason to be toting a fanny pack around. Once we got into the restaurant, the guy walked up to me and said "Hi, how you doin'?" I then realized, much to my chagrin, that it was a CCW firearms instructor I know!
