Do you mean in the city of San Luis Obispo? Because I contacted the city of Atascadero, as I mentioned above, and their dispatchers were kindly enough to suggest that I come by their office to pick up a CCW application for Chief John Couch.

Thanks for the encouragement - I hope that I have a fairly decent good cause, and as stated above I have read the rules. It's funny you should mentioned CCWInstructor, because I PM'd him just yesterday. He was very helpful so far.

I'm not quite ready to pick up the application - I want to do some more research, and really fine tune what I'm going to say, and what about. Plus, I'm sort of soliciting success stories from this area (minus their good cause, see above).
