If you are referring to the Valhalla, the one in SW Colo, Yes, I have but not quite in time to be able to shoot there. Seems they went back to being a totally private club last year. I did get a tour their facility though. It's a 360 degree range. All indoor scenarios of course, using frangible ammo w/manikin targets that actually fall over when hit in the right spot.

It started out as private club and then after 9/11, they opened to the general public. From what I've heard, the training was absolutely 'top notch'.

As of this moment, they're advertising for 'range technicians'. I thought about applying for the job but it's thirty miles from my house and the last ten miles are unpaved. It's also about 8,500' above sea level and it snows there every other day so getting to work is a challenge between Nov & March and now with gas at $4.00 a gallon...

In case you're interested, a lifetime membership is $85,000 but, they give you a gun. And it's a nice one too; a Les Baer w/the serial number that matches your membership number. Of course you get unlimited use of all the ranges and all the skeet, trap & sporting clays targets you want.

Gen. Norman Schwartzkopf and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are the most famous members.
