Having the permit with your ID is adequate.
Anyway, jumping back on subject, only my family, a select few friends and co-workers (who also carry) know I have a CCW. My girlfriend knows I carry and she knows that you don't go blabbing about it (she wants a CCW too). She prefers I do carry since I will protect her if if the need ever arises (pray it never does).
If you are blabbing you have a CCW, then it really is no longer concealed per say and could make you a potential target in more ways than one with punks and anti-gun people. True? Loose lips sink ships...

BTW, if you read the entire post, you would see that this was not SERIOUS. The whole point was reiterated in your last paragraph. NO, there are NOT any badges issued to CCW holders, that was a joke. As the "product description" says, "Announce to the world that you are exercising your Constitutional right to carry a concealed weapon! In regulation lime green, this T says "Hey, Bad Guy! Shoot me first!"" Let's keep things in perspective.
