I had no idea there was a song about fanny packs.

I carry my second set of glasses in one from time to time.

Had a transient hassle me at an In-N-Out Burger a few years ago. Showed him the glasses and didn't buy it - He stated rather loud he thought I was a cop. My wife laughed and said "Who him?". I replied "No". He left.

I use it when the weather is HOT!

My boys think it is way out of fashion - even for a tourist. Oh in DC last year I got a lot of questions from the guards at the attactions around the Great Mall. Tossed it on the x-ray and no further issues. Even got sniffed for gsr once. I was happy it passed.

It is my Man Purse - though smaller than many I see in The City it passes when it has to.

I wear sports coats more often these days. A fanny pack just doesn't fit the atire.
