Thanks to CCWI and this site, I received my letter from OCSD stating that I have been approved for further processing. Next step is fingerprinting then class with CCWI.

I'll probably have to wait a week or so, as my daughter is getting married next Saturday and the schedule is very full. She's marrying a Marine who's done 3 tours in Irag and is currently working as a Range Safety Officer at Camp Pendelton.
