ooo.. rear sight cocking shoulder..
I hope that is what I think it's for, i.e. using the rear sight to hook on my belt or holster or heel of my shoe to rack the slide to do one handed malfunction fixes.
Traditionally, I've always used trijicon sights which work well for that. I understand the concept of a lower profile, i.e. less snaggy, sight like Novak, which is more of a ramp to prevent things from getting snagged while drawing.. but then, there is a usage to having a rear sight with some snaggability.
Looks like Kimber now provides the best of both worlds.. Way to go Kimber.
