I just had some work done on one of my 1911's by John Danforth, at Danforth Gunsmithing, at 7101 Jarupa in Riverside (951 343 7765).

I had him work on my Springfield Omega 10mm. He installed a new safety lever, and did some other work.

He did an excellent job, very reasonable pricing, and seems to have an excellent feel and appreciation for the 1911 platform.
