I read that Hillary and Obama were both campaigning as being pro gun in pro gun states and saying they support the 2nd amendment.
A national ccw bill would be a really interesting bill to come up for a vote in the Congress, especially after the SCOTUS rules on the "Heller case".
It would be interesting to watch how they squirm away from this one.
4 million people have ccw permits and the numbers are growing.
Most people have driver's licenses and those are recoginzed in 50 states.
Many people outside of California don't think it is unreasonable that the same should apply to ccw permits.
Your need for self defense doens't go away when you cross state lines.
