Of course the bill does have symbolic value, espeically if they can get a vote in the Senate.
You would think twith the new love for the 2nd amendment by both Hilliary and Barrack, that it would be a slam dunk.
It would be interesting to see if pro gun Dems are really pro gun, Supporting a dischare petition and making it really haped would really shake things up.

Obama has already openly said how much contempt he has for gunowners... And folks, its not about THE GUNS... It NEVER HAS BEEN... Its about them loathing the people who own them... Its the last politically correct prejudice... A hatred by democrats of their fellow americans whom still believe in the VALUES the country was founded upon. They express that hatred and punish those Americans by outlawing the activities those people enjoy engaging in. Its a passive-aggressive, ego driven psychosis. To them, the elected representatives of the left and their useful idiot supporters, if you believe in God, You're just an uneducated fool. If you believe in Americas greatness, you're just a xenophobic hick who's never been outside his one horse town. And if you own a gun, youre either a criminal, or you're trailer trash. The great irony of course, is that most of them go to church every week (for show) wave the flag at every opportunity (they hold their noses when they do) and that most of them OWN GUNS themselves (or alternatively travel with heavily armed security details). They of course, never aim any of that scathing criticism that they so glibly toss out at millions of the people they pretend to represent, at themselves. After all, they are part of the ruling class and dont need to bother themselves with the tricky details of self criticism or hypocrisy. They have thousands if not millions of people cheering and voting for them, and with that goes a sense of entitlement that knows no bounds.
And Hilary? The clintons are the best hucksters and liars this country has ever seen.... Bill gave us eight years of "aww shucks, im jus' a good ol' boy in ma El Camino with a shotgun rack!! HEEHAWW!!!" when he was on the campaign trail. And 8 years of doing everything he could to outlaw guns when behind closed doors....
NEVER TRUST ANY OF THEM AGAIN!
