National CCW had been proposed by Cliff Searns for years, but the bill never got to a vote in a so called "Gun Friendly Congress.
As ong as we have House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the bill is dead unless they can get a discharge petition.
Of course the bill does have symbolic value, espeically if they can get a vote in the Senate.
You would think twith the new love for the 2nd amendment by both Hilliary and Barrack, that it would be a slam dunk.
It would be interesting to see if pro gun Dems are really pro gun, Supporting a dischare petition and making it really haped would really shake things up.
