Looks like I will go to Montana this fall to hunt deer and elk and I need a .44 Mag or a strong 45 Colt. I have a super blackhawk, but it is a 7.5 incher and way to big for holster carry (for me that is). I am thinking 4 inch DA or maybe a 4 5/8 inch SA for strong side carry or across the chest. I know I would like stainless. My dream would be the Freedom Arms with the 4 inch......

They offer the same gun in .45 colt. It's a real nice cartridge too. I haven't checked to see about bullet selection though.
The FAs are VERY nice, but I just can't rationalize the price right now. :-)
