Sorry, but I don't trust you. As a matter of fact I totally disagree with your statements above.
Several members here carry their guns in shoulder holsters. I know of one who carries a full size 1911 in a Lou Alessi Bodyguard daily. I have never seen him in anything but a short sleeve shirt. Printing is not an issue in his case.
The fact that you say you made your own holster from some old boots tells me enough.
