Congrats on your new baby.  What is the barrel length on your Redhawk? (Geez I should read titles - 4 Inch). My first serious pistol was a Super Blackhawk .44 Mag with the 7.5" barrel. I couldn't wear it in a strong side belt holster, because my side would cramp up trying to draw it! Had to carry it cross-draw or in a shoulder holster. Found the Bianchi shoulder holster quite comfortable and I could wear it all day long out in the field. Sucker was so long it had a belt loop to keep it in place! I miss that gun (damn burglars  ).
