Thats not totally correct... You have to look at Raich in the inverse of normal ICC cases because there the FEDS wanted STRICTER regulation than the states. Since the issue there was the DEREGULATION of narcotics laws by the States, versus the feds interest in the continued regulation of the trafficking therof, its really not a case that will go much further than itself.
Id be willing to talk to you more about it one on one, but Ive used up my daily "serious post" quotient.
(and yes... This doesnt get past a DEMOCRATIC FILIBUSTER, let alone a Dem controlled congress)
