I carry the 5 inch XD Tactical 45acp... daily in a custom holster by Threatsolutions... he is a little slow though...
From what I hear, TT gunleather or the Milt Sparks or the comp-tac are all comperable.

I find IWB holsters, with the belt clip on the top of the holster, instead of off-set fore and aft of the holster are less comfortable in that the holster moves all day long. Having two attachment points is more comfortable and eliminates the constant adjustment of the gun which is another way of printing.
