No question about it, you were about to be taken down. Your daughter being w/you would normally be liability in a situation like that (that's the kind of situation predators look for) but she kept her cool and ended up being an asset. WAL-MART parking lots aren't the safest places anyway but at night they're downright dangerous no matter what neighborhoods they're in.

God bless those remote entry systems which only open the driver's door on the first click. The one on my Liberty works that way. It only took me a second to realize why it was made that way.

I live in Colo. but I once worked on a long term project in RC. I was staying at the Extended Stay America at White Rock & Zinfandel, just off US 50. My first impression of RC was "nice, clean, safe". That all changed one Saturday night when the desk clerk was brutally 'pistol whipped' during an armed robbery.
