For one you want to gently feel what is her take towards firearms, and self protection without sounding like a gun freak
Also.... with letting her know about CCW you will have to make sure she knows to ignore it in public and so on. And... again, for some it might be first, for some it might be 5th, for some it might be never. Lastly, the right of the bat... make sure she does not get an impression you're trying to intimidate her or something like that as that might get ugly.....
