Yeah, #9 can't be good for you if the fumes make you see things while cleaning your weapon. MPro-7 is pretty non-toxic, even less than CLP, which is not bad at all, but I just found the MPro worked on my carbon the same as CLP, and it's more expensive. I've also seen some not-very-scientific rust tests where it didn't fare too well, but I don't run my gun in salt water all that often.
I find that using CLP regularly makes it a snap to clean the next time, it leaves a teflon film that seems to keep the carbon from sticking.
