close up, cover the target... it is a little difficut to put all of the rounds in the same hole at close range ala the national matches... but that wouldn't work too well on a goblin anyway... each shot different hole on goblins.. check... and it is basically a goblin gun...with the occasional cotton tail for the pot thrown in...

At 15 yards, put the top of the sight at 6 o'clock on what you want to hit... and it will be meat-in-the-pot....goblin on the ground etc....

At 50 yards, cover the target with the dot again....

They are very, very, very, stinkin' fast at close range... really...
The only set of sights I have that are as fast for my bi-focal eyes are a set on my Hi-power (yes it is minor caliber 9mm and it is belgum and yes I shoot it alot and had the slide cut for the sights... and has a funny accent with european ammo)... novak plain black rear - fiber optic front.

My wife has eye-dominence (sp?)(... dominated I know as I have been married 20 years).... issues and has trouble with the express sights on her compact XD... likes em well enough on my tactical gun though she says they take alot of getting used to... didn't for me... took to 'em like a fish to water... or a redneck to a pickup truck... whatever....
El Gato,
I realize this thread is long dead, maybe I should PM it.
I really like the concept and I even went so far as to remove a rear sight on
my g-22 to see if I like the concept. Poor man's Big Dot sight.

I do have some "accuracy" concerns which are probably unfounded.
I saw how much faster I was getting hits in the 7+ yard range with my "poor
man's big dot" glock. In the short ranges 3-7 yards etc ... I can see huge
advantage with the big dot.

My concern is the medium fighting ranges. 10-25 yards.
Can you hit the A-zone (8") or does the front sight completely cover
the A zone picture and you are just guessing? I'm debating the "big"
versus the "standard" dot size.

thanks
