You are assuming there is a county where LE does NOT want you to notify.
Remember there is a HUGE difference from not requiring you to notify, to they absolutely do not want you to notify.

I don't want to come across as argumentative here, but I have to agree with Gimpy. EDC does not require that you show. Once I learned of the OC requirement, I asked a couple of deputies opinions. Both admitted it could create more problems than it is worth in most instances... One example was running a stop sign near my house (they know where I live). Both said the traffic stop would go much smoother if i didn't say anything UNLESS I was asked if I had any guns in the car. They both also thought that the requirement could be a good idea for up here, but neither thought it would happen - not sure why.
