I was not armed as I was on my way to John Wayne with my boys. I just thought it was an interesting situation that would spark comment.
I agree with all those who say "tell" I see no down side to this.
I have been in the same situation as True Brit many times while walking my dog and have not said anything as contact has been a few seconds.
