You may be correct in a Dollar to Lumen World, but to the tactician or the operator it goes much beyond that. There is the ergonomics, the switch design and placement, the brilliant bright ABSOLUTE WHITE light that is properly focused. The grip design (barrel) of the P2ZX in the hands of a trained tactician is unsurpassed. And on a final note, saying that "more lumens than necessary" is just plain silliness. When you are talking about saving lives, there just is NO - TOO MUCH, you are just being negative so you have something to say.

BTW: the light is close to $100 making it a GREAT BUY!

Side-by-side with SureFire, the quality is still outstanding.
