1-12-12: Called SO to have packet mailed, was informed that they now email applications, provided email and was told to download application, fill out completely then to call back to schedule initial interview/appointment
1-17-12: Received a call back from the SO with an appointment/interview of December 4th, 2012
1-23-12: Called the Sheriff's Office today and spoke with Linda, was able to move my appointment up from 12-4-12 to 7-2-12!
3-8-12: Got EXTREMELY lucky and they had a cancellation for this day (Original appointment was set for 12-4-12 then 7-2-12) for first interview at 9 AM. Interview went well and was real kick back . Was told I would hear back in 3-4 weeks, wish me luck!
3-16-17: Completed required 6 hour training course at 'The Range.' Checked the mail and lo and behold my Approval letter was waiting there for me!
3-19-12: Called the Sheriff's Office to schedule my 2nd Appointment to pay fee's ($210) take the test and LiveScan. Appointment is set for April 5th
4-5-12: Had my second appointment at the Sheriff's Office today, took a quick CCW test, signed my ACTUAL permit and some other papers then I was escorted across the street by the Detective's to do my LiveScan and they said I should have my permit in 4-6 weeks
5-5-12: Received my Permit in the mail today
!!!!! 30 days from second interview to Mailbox
