Make double dog sure it is fitted properly... I wear a vest at least 40 hours a week and the long overtime days seem to always happen when it is 110 degrees or better....

if you put on 20lbs... you will need a new vest... take off 20 and that's not so bad, the vest overlaps...trust me....make sure you go to a really competent person to be fitted

Wear underarmor...period...seriously....it is seriously expensive but well worth it especially when it is hot...

I wear second chance and am on my second vest...the first one expired on waranty and the dept. ordered a new one...

But remember you aren't bullet proof even in armor and there are lots of nasty ways people can hurt you even if you are wearing it... 5.56 will go through the armor, you and then out the back....
