What would concern me most would be that word would get around and I'd fall under the scrutiny of the other parents and school workers. Even though I would know I was in the right, nobody likes to be called into the principle's office!
Unfortunately, it is probably incidents like this that eventually cause Sheriff's to list schools as restricted areas in some counties. I'm sure they don't appreciate calls from angry, concerned parents of school children. Afterall, re-election may be around the corner.
