Chico Rod and Gun has a indoor range that is $3 a pop for members. The Clay Pit is OK. Best to go during the week if possible. You may want to keep a side arm exposed and watch your mirror on the way home. I have heard of people stopping by the store after leaving and getting ripped off. Don't shoot glass or leave your targets, the warden sits atop the hill with binoculars and watches, for that to issue tickets. There is no range master so some times proper safety procedures aren't followed.
