I have not been but I have a friend that likes the pit there in Oroville.(out by the airport). I like the Paradise Rod and Gun club, cost $50 year and $5 bucks a pop to shoot pistol and or riffle, and they supply the targets. I also like to go off of Big Bend road down by the Feather river in Yankee Hill. There is a lot off places to go shoot up cans and what not around the hills here in Paradise. But I mostly like to target shoot. I would go into Huningtons and ask some of the guys in there.If you would like to check out the rod and gun club let me know and you can come as a guest.
