I believe the 4 o'clock is good for most people. Having said that, it all works according to body type, if you have a side spare tire, it might not be good.
Then again, have to work within the confines of your body type.
Buying the right kind of clothing style will help. You may have to change your dressing style all together.
Look in the mirror for printing.
Choose a summer gun, medium dress and winter dress. Seasons demand adaptation. You may end up with three different platforms that have some commonality. Do not mix a system with thumb/external safety and a platform that does not have external safety. Under stress you will forget to disengage the external safety.
