I stayed up until 3:00 am waiting.....by that time it was obvious to me.
All the other vetoes had been announced with a lot of fanfare. Silence in reference to AB962.
What now? Expect ammo prices to escalate out of sight.
Reloading might be a necessary thing to be able to continue doing what we do.
Reloading component prices will go up.
Ammo will be even more scarce than now.
The fear factor will multiply, some people will be bouncing off the walls.
Eventually this will be one of the factors that will create a tipping effect, creating a backlash that will unravel all this nonsense.
Mr. De Leon must be celebrating this morning, when in effect He will have sealed his political career after it is proven that his law turns out to be ineffectual in stopping gang bangers from illegally getting all kinds of weapons and ammo. They will become more organized and will have a supply line from neighboring states by solidifying ties amongst themselves. The average citizen will be shopping for ammo in adjacent states looking for better ammo retail prices, while hating the inconvenience of residing in this state and cursing its politicians. The law enforcement community might become more isolated from the average citizen.
And so the average citizen will be criminalized as they take creative counter measures to adapt.
The anti gunners will be emboldened and press for further attacks.
That is what I think.
