Poogsdad gives very sound advice. My carry guns are a .45 cal Kimber Ultra CDP and a .380 Walther PPKS. My choice of the day depends on the clothing that I need to wear. Sure I have caught some flak about the weak .380 and how the 45 is always better, but if I had only the 45, I would leave it home on some days. Find what fits your hand, seek professional training, then train well and often.
