FYI.. panasonic makes surefire batteries as well as many other private label brands, guess they are the largest small battery manfg out there,so while lookin for batteries always have a look at panasonics brand, most of the time they are cheaper than others with a private label and probably fresher as well, panasonic prints the good to date right on the pkg and batt so you know your getting a newer batt, and when ordering batts for storage ask shipper to send newes manfg date, usually they will,usually they say a 123 lithium batt has a 5-6 year shelf life,panosic says their batt has a 9 -10 year storage time,not sure why theirs are so much longer but maybe because their own name is on it, so better quality ?? batteryjunction.com has a great selection and great prices, as well as some good tech info on alot of batteries out there.. gday-mate..
