But yeah, neither my 30, nor my dads 30SF has ever experienced that problem. My Kimber Ultra Carry II sure has though! So many times that I have gotten nervous about even carrying it for a reliable self defense gun. Pretty sure I fixed it now with a little sanding of the contact surfaces in the slide because it has not failed to close all the way for a while now. But it will take a lot more trouble free shooting for me to really trust it.

I no longer carry my Kimber because it's a POS, unreliable 1000 dollar paper weight.
My cheap glocks have never failed me since the day they were first shot.
