Well as far as I am concerned, any police or sheriff's dept. that does not issue ccw's to qualified individuals is breaking the law. They simply need to change their ways and start issuing them. Your life and your families lives are worth a hell of a lot more than any jewelry. How the hell can they justify placing more value on expensive jewelry or other high value goods? That is extremely idiotic to say that those things are reason enough to let you carry a gun, but the protection of your own life is not. How absolutely ridiculous!
I can not stand the lack of common sense when it comes to the issuance of ccw's in this state!
