Well everybody, I had my interview the other day. And I have to say it went very well. What a nice, informative, professional, group of people (SBSD). I was so nervous about the interview part. But there was nothing really to be nervous about. Great Department to deal with, very happy I live in San Bernardino Co. Super cool experience. I have to say for anyone that hasn't got to that step yet, and you're nervous about it, RELAX! It is a very easy process. I enjoyed it very much actually.
They told me I was being put on the August range class at Glen Helen. They didn't have a date for me yet, but it's in August for sure. They also told me to make sure my BI Questionaires that are being sent out to my references, be sent back immediately, the sooner the better on this one folks. So, I went ahead and let everybody know that they're on their way.
Total time frame I was given before my permit would be issued was 1 to 3 months, depending on a few variables. Most likely right around 2 months they said. They also said they didn't see anything there that would prevent the Sheriff from issuing me my permit. Everything looked solid. How exciting
I can't wait to go to Wally World for some nachos.
Now I get to play the waiting game. I want to say thanks again to CCWI, The Gimper, X-ffdo, and RickD6023 all for helping me out and pointing me in the right direction. You guys rock
