This used to be so, but no more. The only people who can obtain voter registration records are politicians, news media and LE. There may be another group, but I don't think so. The change took place somewhere around 20 years ago -- not sure of the date. I used to utilize voter registration records in my work, when I was a fed, not doing LE cases. We lost access while I was still a fed.
