Bass Pro Shops is not a secure environment and anyone can come in to do bad things. We here on this forum prefer to take our own safety and the safety of our loved ones into our own hands. That means using all methods available to us in a free society such as situational awareness, avoidance, and yes, carrying our CCW firearm whereever it is allowed by law.
The arguement you appear to be trying to make could apply just about anywhere and continues to perpetuate the myth that someone else, ie. law enforcement is resposible for our safety. 
And I fail to see why your being a retired LE has anything to do with it other than to show the divide that sometimes becomes visible between LE and us regular folk. |
Busnesses have the right to set conditions on entrance to their property ie no alcoholic beverages,no pets,no unruly behavior & no concealed handguns. Your ccw doesn't give you the right to ignore these conditions!
