I don't think this officer is getting a "get out of jail free" card. She will deal with the criminal justice system like anyone else. Penalty probably being 3 to 6 months suspended license, AA classes, restitution, fine and 3 years probation. Not to mention $3K to 5K attourney bills and double or triple car insurance premiums for 10 years.
Only thing I comented on was why it took so long to break the news she was in a county unmarked car? That was not her responsibility to report. It was the higher up officials at the OCSD's duty. I guess their excuse will be it was an ongoing investigation.
