Wow, for those into wheel guns this one is pretty neat! S&W 625-10 Performance Center 45ACP 6-shot revolver. I saw one at the Fowler gun room today. It has a white dot front sight and a trench in the top of the backstrap for a rear sight. Points nice (as one would expect a larger gun to do). I would have to go after that hammer like I did with my
Agent if it were to come into my inventory.
Video of it in action:

6 shots of 45ACP via moon clips is an interesting alternative for carry in a non-slide based package. It's an N-frame gun so it's probably too big for pocket carry but it might ride nice on the belt? It's also terribly light (SCandium or Ti, not sure?) which is good when you're not pulling the trigger, but I suspect it won't want to follow up on the second shot without a lot of practice. I have a feeling I would dig holes in the ground shooting in anticipation of the jump.
Has anyone put one of these through it's paces? There's no record of it on the S&W site. First glimpse though normal channels came up empty. Maybe it's an older gun? The internet seems a bit shy on info on this pistol. But it does come up on the DOJ list:
625-10 / Alloy, Stainless Steel Revolver 2" .45 ACP 11/6/2007
I suspect it also migth be difficult to come up with a rig for it because the barrel sits so far back in the frame.
Glocktalk thread I just found on the 625-10
turns out S&W does have a holster (DeSantis) for it. Available with or w/o thumb break. Check out how the belt line lines up with the barrel!
