OK, this is just wishful thinking, but why can't the BOS pass a change in the rules that ALLOWS them to boot out a rogue official? Seems like this type of thing keeps repeating. You can tell me why this is a bad idea, and I know nothing about the rules of the road for boards of supervisors or county government, but at the moment, it sounds like a great idea. Does this type of thing need to be voted on at the next election? Seems like it might pass--in case this happens again, and again, and again.
